I think that is the point. I'm not sure why a person needs exposure to all this. I was raised in a strict Catholic family. When I came of age, I questioned my faith the same as everyone else. (and I still do, from time to time) But my decision to remain Catholic wasn't based on what my parents taught me...it was based on what I learned by myself. But then, I wasn't homeschooled. But I have younger brothers and sisters who were. Most of them, I know, have had the same kind of questions I had (and probably still do).As far as politics go, my sibling range in...[This is a content summary only. Don't try to sell the teeth whitening system but instead offer a free report (maybe CD or possibly even a DVD) on "How to Have a Movie Star Smile in 30 days or less for less $200" (or whatever title you wanted to give it). 2. Purchase a 30 minute block of time and do a "long-form" commercial, which would "sell" the teeth whitening system. There are many businesses around the country that have become dominant players in their respective niches through the use of long-form radio. Solid ideas, Mike![This is a content summary only. Author: cht Posted: 11:21, Jan 19, 2006 I just published this website recently in hopes of using it as a tool to sell my services. I want to direct potential clients there to view samples and attract business. I need some opinions about its overall effectiveness. Be honest and brutal if you have to be. I want to get it right...so lay it on me. Thanks.Shoot for the head...www.epiphanycopy.com[This is a content summary only. Visit CopywritersBoard.com for full links, other content, and more!]
Author: willo000 Posted: 10:24, Jan 19, 2006 Hey Jane,Thanks for you feedback and taking the time to respond.I do believe I have something worthwhile to offer and I agree my approach was manipulative. I suppose I was just trying to create some sort of hook that I wasn't educated enough in writing for my audience. So here's what I've done.I printed it out. Sat down with a pen and re-wrote the copy in a straight forward fashion. No tricks. No manipulation. And not making the reader feel bad. Only enough to take action. (I think)Let me know what you think of the revised version. Response to your feedback:About the desired outcome - Most men already have what it takes to have a long lasting happy relationship with women, their problem is not knowing what to do to get women interested in the first place. (A man may want a long lasting...[This is a content summary only. Visit CopywritersBoard.com for full links, other content, and more!]
Author: MichaelWinicki Posted: 09:39, Jan 19, 2006 The truth is writing a web sales letter isn't really any different from writing a normal sales letter. It really isn't.The first thing I would do is pickup a copy of the "Robert Collier Letter book". While this title dates from the 1930's it's principles for writing sales letter copy is still brilliant in it's simplicity. Then pickup a copy of Dan Kennedy's "Ultimate Sales Letter" book.I've successfully used "The Robert Collier Letter Book" as the basis for many web based sales letters. One site increased sales from $18,000 per month to $37,000 within 30 days.[This is a content summary only. Visit CopywritersBoard.com for full links, other content, and more!]
Author: MichaelWinicki Posted: 09:20, Jan 19, 2006 While I'm not big on Dr. Jeffrey Lant's Internet based activities, I have to admit his book "Cash Copy", which was written in the late 80's, is one of the finest if not the best copywriting book I've ever come across for less than $50. When I began my career as a copywriter I often borrowed it from my local library in the mid 90's. Then for some reason I forgot about the darn thing. Probably because then I was buying copywriting courses like Dan Kennedy's "Magnetic Marketing" along with Brian Keith Voiles "Advertising Magic". Well, someone here within another thread mentioned "Cash Copy" and I had "Doh!" moment when it hit me that I had forgotten all about this book. I was able to secure a slightly used copy for about $22 and I'm telling you this is an incredible book when it comes to teaching how to...[This is a content summary only. I understand that most people visiting the page will already have some idea of what they're looking at, but still, shouldn't you have a large head that says specifically what the product is for?Ken Strong[This is a content summary only. Author: jaykay Posted: 06:01, Jan 19, 2006 Web users judge sites in the blink of an eye.Potential readers can make snap decisions in just 50 milliseconds.Like the look of our website? Whatever the answer (and hopefully it was yes), the chances are you made your mind up within the first twentieth of a second. A study by researchers in Canada has shown that the snap decisions Internet users make about the quality of a web page have a lasting impact on their opinions. In the crowded and competitive world of the web, companies hoping to make millions from e-commerce should take notice, the researchers say. "Unless the first impression is favourable, visitors will be out of your site before they even know that you might be offering more than your competitors," Lindgaard warns. The lasting effect...[This is a content summary only.
